Greg began his musical career in the Chicago area, where he developed his music performance skills as a percussionist. Upon discovering an interest in composition, he pursued a music degree under the instruction of Joel Naumann, Stephen Dembski, and Les Thimmig at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 1998, Greg graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition and Business Marketing.

Composing music has always been an emotional outlet for Greg. And his years spent in Madison, Wisconsin provided him with a wide variety of compositional techniques, not to mention great memories performing with peers in alternative rock bands. Though, when you listen to Greg's concert works, it's clear that he has a fondness for music of the late-romantic period.

In 2000, Greg moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where he has been at work advancing his marketing career, all the while, writing and producing new music.
